So, it's been forever since I've posted on here. To be honest, I didn't really know if anyone would be checking since I've gone back to "normal" life. Then I got a call the other day from my aunt, and she chewed me out (well, not really :) for not posting anything. So here ya go, Aunt Sandy; this is for you!

After returning from Italy, I eventually started feeling better and went back to work at my church, Atascadero Bible Church. One of the secretaries had become quite ill while I was gone, and she wasn't able to come back to work. (I miss ya, Sallie!) I loved working with her, although we did tend to feed off each other's sarcasm. :) Anyhow, they needed someone to fill in her hours, so I got bumped up to "official" full-time status, which was a real blessing from God. I was not looking forward to looking for a second job. Thank you, Lord!

So I've just been doing the regular thing--getting up, going to work, eating, sleeping, and filling in with church activities and friends.

I would like to pursue going back to Italy. In order to do that, I need to complete the training with New Tribes Mission, which I could do here in the States (Missouri) or in England. I am leaning towards England at this point because it makes sense to be trained where I am going to work (Europe). I am praying and talking with my church about the timing of the training. That's still kind of up in the air...

One neat thing that happened last month was that I got to go see my parents' house in El Paso, Texas. The Lord moved in such a way that they were able to purchase an older home, which needed some work done on it. My church (ABC) sent a couple of guys to work on the bathrooms and a few other little things, and I got to go with them! :) It was wonderful to see Mom and Dad and to be involved in the whole remodeling process, which was very new to us all.

That's all for now... I will post a few pics of the trip Texas...
