About Me
- Name: Esther
- Location: Roach, Missouri, United States
I was born in Duarte, California. My parents are missionaries with New Tribes Mission, and so I was carted off to Colombia, South America, at the grand old age of three weeks! We lived in Colombia until I was about 13 years old. The years spent there are some of the fondest memories I have--going to boarding school, riding horses, playing in the mud, climbing trees, and having friends who were like family. At the age of 14, we moved to Mexico, and I spent my high school years there, attending another school for MKs (missionary kids). Like most people, I had struggles in high school, but I have good memories, including graduating in a class of four--all girls! After high school, I attended San Jose Christian College (in California) for one year and then moved on to New Tribes Bible Institute in Jackson, Michigan. I graduated in 03 and was so impacted by the ministry of the school that I stayed on staff for a year and a half. In December 04, I left and spent some time with my parents in Texas. In August 05, I moved to Atascadero, California; I lived there and worked at my church until this last August (07), when I moved to Missouri to enter training with New Tribes Mission.

Isn't spring such a glorious season. It puts behind the cold days of winter and brings a burst of hope for what lies ahead. You do a great job of capturing the beauty.
